Milltown to combines all the best of small town living in a central Dublin location. The riverside park, leafy suburbs, local amenities such as the local florist, pharmacy & dry cleaner all combine to give you a wonderful sense of community and space seldom seen so close to the city centre.

Speaking of the city centre, Milltown boats excellent transport links with its own LUAS stop. St Stephens Green & Dundrum Shopping Centre (my wife’s favourite place to visit) are both only a quick 10 minutes ride away in either direction. Of course Donnybrook and Ranelagh are only short stroll away with all their shops, restaurants and take aways for the foodie lovers such as myself!

Speaking of local amenities, Milltown is fantastic for families with Alexandra College & Giraffe Childcare right in the centre of Milltown and the nearby Saint Mary’s National, Gonzaga College & Ranelagh’s Multi-Denominational Schools to name a few.

Golf lovers should certainly check out the Milltown golf club. My personal favourite sunny Sunday is coffee in Wilde & Green with a walk through the park along the river Dodder and back again for Sunday lunch at The Dropping Well. Don’t forget to bring back a bouquet from The Enchanted Florist for that special someone!
